WVE Studios (part of WVE Group, formerly KALM Creative) is a video and event production company based at Unit 6 Hodgson Court, Hodgson Way, Wickford, Essex, SS11 8XR. We are committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What Information We Collect

When you contact us through our website enquiry forms, by email or by phone, we may collect your name, email address, phone number and details of your enquiry or project.

If you become a client, we may also hold booking details, event information, invoicing and payment records as required to deliver our services.

Our website does not require you to create an account, and we do not collect any special category data through this site.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, deliver our video and event production services, manage bookings and invoicing, and keep in touch about your project.

We will only send you marketing communications where you have asked us to, and you can opt out at any time.

We never sell your personal data to third parties.

Filming & Photography at Events

As a production company, our work involves recording video and taking photographs at events. Where we are commissioned by a client, the client is responsible for notifying attendees that recording is taking place and that attendance implies consent to being recorded, as set out in our Terms & Conditions.

We may use extracts from finished productions for publicity purposes on our website, social media and showreels unless otherwise agreed with the client in writing.

Cookies & Analytics

Our website may use essential cookies to make the site function correctly, and analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. These analytics are aggregated and do not identify you personally.

Embedded content, such as YouTube videos, may set cookies from those third-party services when you interact with them. Please refer to YouTube/Google's privacy policy for details on how they process data.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep enquiry details only as long as necessary to handle your enquiry. Client records are retained for as long as required for legal, accounting and insurance purposes.

In line with our Terms & Conditions, customer-supplied video material is deleted or destroyed 7 days after handover of the final product unless otherwise agreed.

Sharing Your Information

We only share your data with trusted third parties where necessary to deliver our services — for example affiliated staging, sound or lighting suppliers on your event, our accountants, or IT service providers. All are required to keep your information secure.

We will disclose personal data where required to do so by law.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, request correction or deletion, object to or restrict processing, and request data portability.
